Alex Wallace on Changes in the Media Industry

Alex Wallace’s Speech Topics

  • Preparing for the AI Revolution: Strategies for Corporate Leaders and Workers in the Digital Transformation Era

Transformation never ends. As we enter the next phase of the digital revolution, powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and machine learning will disrupt knowledge workers like automation disrupted factory workers in the Industrial Revolution. While AI can automate routine tasks, boost productivity, and unlock new sources of innovation, it can also displace jobs, create ethical dilemmas, and require new skills and knowledge.

In this speech, Alex Wallace walks leaders through the changes they should expect to impact them and their teams in the short and long term and how to embrace and prepare their teams. Additionally, audiences will learn:

    • How to ensure everything they are doing falls into two buckets: “now” and “wow,” and how to avoid doing anything “meh.”
    • How to foster a culture of innovation that encourages risk-taking, failure, and continuous improvement.
    • Strategies and best practices to navigate the AI revolution and thrive in the digital transformation era.
  • The Hidden Gems & Tested Secrets to Successful Content Marketing Strategies

As an accomplished media executive with over 30 years in the content business, Alex Wallace is an expert in creating and sharing informative, relevant, and valuable content that attracts and retains a clearly defined audience to drive profitable customer action. When executed well, content marketing can make or break the position of a business, build brand awareness and loyalty, and drive leads.

As businesses are navigating a period of economic uncertainty, consumers are more cautious with their spending and are more likely to research their purchases before making a decision. By providing high-quality content that addresses the concerns and questions of potential customers, businesses can establish themselves as trusted sources of information and build a relationship of trust with their audience.

In this speech, audiences will learn:

    • The strategy and process you can enact to ensure customers take the action you want them to take.
    • The essential hires you need to make successful content and how to discern whether they are the right fit for your team and content needs.
    • The differences between social platforms and keys to an excellent strategy for each platform (hint: you can’t reuse your content as-is on each platform!)
    • How to empower your customers through your messaging.
  • The Workforce of the Future

Two trends are converging: the world is becoming increasingly complex, and the average human lifespan is increasing. This is fortuitous, because, in a progressively complicated and chaotic world, we need wisdom and judgment more than ever, both in our personal lives and in business. As we are all living longer, much longer, we are going to need and want to work much longer. And with our customers living longer, our workplace needs to reflect them as well so that we may serve our market properly. The workplace is not yet prepared for any of this.

In this speech, audiences will learn ways businesses can prepare. Among them:

    • Develop a plan to retain and engage workers who are 50+. Many businesses are set up to do this for entry-level and senior executives and diverse populations. A plan needs to be made for the 50+ crowd.
    • What about hiring 50+ talent? This cohort has different expectations and interests. Get to know them.
    • Ageism-Teaching our teams what it is and how to prevent it from becoming a workplace issue.
  • Event Moderator

With her insight across various disciplines, Alex Wallace shapes meaningful discussions and captivates audiences. From corporate events to conferences and symposiums, she possesses the ability to spark thoughtful dialogue, uncover valuable insights, and foster connections among participants.
